Happy Thanksgiving

Hi everyone, it's little me! Wishing you all a very HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Mom is kind of busy making the feast. Dad is not a blogger. Piper is roaming around in the backyard. So it was up to me to wish you all a lovely turkey day. Even though some family gatherings might be smaller than usual or not happening at all let's at least all find something to be thankful for. Here's something if you can't think of anything...we've made it this far thru 2020. And Christmas is around the corner. So let's look forward not backwards!

Quick Snap Sunday

It's November and Thanksgiving is this week...and I'm behind on the blog. What else is new, right? So lets get back to blogging!

What's going on? Things are pretty quiet here. Staying home a lot like everyone else is. We decided to do our own thing for Thanksgiving. We will stay home and I will make the turkey dinner. I'm rather excited about making our meal. Only slightly concerned about making the gravy. Gravy is very important and I'm not as skilled at it as I should be. My too weaknesses in the kitchen are gravy for cooking and pie dough rolling for baking. Never judge my pies on how "round" my dough is. Mercy!

In other news, I entered Landon in a contest a couple weeks ago and hold on to your hats...he won! Yep, he's a winner! He was already a winner in his momma's eyes. So his prize should arrive in the mail in a few days. I'm excited!

My Wild One

Landon attended a party...oh wait I mean "pawty" for his friend Ted today. His stylist dressed him as well as I could. Lol! I was struggling with his darn bowtie. It wasn't noticeable enough. Kind of blended in to the bandana. Oh well, he looks cute. He was looking wild for his friend Ted's Wild Bday!

Oh Monday!

Oh mercy me it's Monday! Where did the weekend go? Let's start a campaign...no more Mondays! I wanted to chuck the alarm clock out the window when it sounded this morning. We stayed up too late watching a movie on Netflix. I was surprised when the movie was done and it was as late as it was. Yes, we ditched the Sunday Night Football for a Netflix movie. We watched a lot of the game but when it appeared Saints were fully in control we left. And hey, HUGE shoutout to the Saints for handing Brady his worst lose in his career. Landon tips his hat to you.

Yesterday before football I got Landon in the car and I was headed to take him to the vet for his shots. But the car wouldn't start. Dead battery! Grr! Had to change the appointment to later in the day. However, Brad didn't end up getting the battery issue dealt with until much later. So the 2nd appointment for Landon yesterday I had to be canceled too. Landon thought he was the luckiest boy EVER. Two vet appointments canceled because of a dead car battery. The battery is now fixed and Landon will not escape a third time. Come Wednesday he will get his shots.

Landon has a party to go to tomorrow. As his friend is turning 2. I got him a special outfit to wear for the party. I swear my dog's social calendar is more booked up than mine! I really wish I was joking about that but I'm not.

So Monday Night Football...the only thing that makes Monday's somewhat tolerable. Not sure what to think of the matchup though?...Jets and Patriots. Do I really care? No, not really. But both teams stink so maybe it's a good matchup? Have a lovely Monday evening!

Quick Snap Sunday

I'm cautiously optimistic as the 3rd quarter rolls on. Don't screw it up Cowboys. Roethlisberger is gimpy, so here's your chance. We have a no name at quarterback but he's doing alright so far. If he wins this game today I promise to learn his name by next week! ;)

Quick Snap Sunday

It's still Halloween weekend for a few more hours so I had to showoff my batty bandana. We had our campout in the living room and watched movies and played Halloween edition games. It was great. Got to sleep in mom's sleeping bag with her. Just call me the snuggle monster. I didn't get nearly as much treats last night as my parents consumed. Something wrong with that I believe. I should have scored more treats!

So it's November I've been told. Time change happened, parents seemed sluggish today and blamed it on changing the clocks. Dad wanted pancakes but mom has a rule...must get up before noon to get pancakes. He failed to do that. Dad's still a winner though...he didn't get pancakes but he got cookies. Mom spent time baking the "Halloween" cookies she was supposed to bake yesterday. LOL! Mom was super busy yesterday. She was on instagram literally ALL day long running my Spookathon. She spent the day posting and editing. My story on instagram was amazing yesterday. I think mom kind of liked hosting a Spookathon, aka a virtual party. If you are not on Instagram you missed out! Mom plans on hosting another virtual party again soon. So hurry up and get instagram people so you can see me and my furiends and all the hard work mom puts in to my instagram account!

Cowboys are playing in about an hour from the time I'm posting this. And what you see above may look strange. But it's not strange, instead it's useful. Here I am demonstrating another brilliant way to watch the Cowboys play. Bandanas aren't just for wearing around your neck you know? They can be worn over your eyes when you can't bear to watch the Cowboys get embarrassed on national TV. I really hope I don't have to wear my bandana like this tonight but it's handy just in case. Go Cowboys! Please at least look like a pro team and don't get embarrassed on Sunday Night Football in front of the whole nation. Please!
