Happy Birthday! 🎉

Bubsy: It’s a special day in our household…Happy Birthday to my little sissy! Cue the confetti! 🥳 Or shall I say, cue the berry big fun! 🍓

Sissy: Welcome to my strawberry patch birthday. Our mom always chooses a theme for our bday…it’s going to be a berry good time for me today. It’s all about little me! 🍓🥳

Bubsy: That’s right it is. Best part is…I see three gift bags in the living room. Mom already made the special birthday treat. And two bonus gifts were already given to us…it’s clear I’m benefiting from you having a bday too! 🎁

Sissy: Lucky for you, today I’m willing to share with you…a little at least. Although I won’t be sharing any of my birthday treat tonight.😉

Bubsy: I think it’s a frozen over strawberry patch theme. 🍓 It’s cold! Super cold here…it’s only 1 degree outside. So staying in as much as possible and snuggling with mom is likely the big plan of the day until later when we get the party started and go bonkers over the gifts and birthday treats. 🧁🎁🍓

Sissy: I am in perfect agreement with that plan. Mom even got me a new strawberry themed blankie for snuggling.🍓

Bubsy: You’ve already scored a toy and a blankie…this birthday of yours is starting off great! So let’s go continue to celebrate! Party all day!!!🎉

Happy Valentine’s Day ♥️

Bubsy: Fancy meeting you here on Valentine’s Day night. What are we doing this lovely evening, sissy?

Sissy: Well, mom and dad are busy making their own pizza together. We are busy smelling their pizza. But doubtful that we’ll get any. 🍕

Bubsy: Never fear…mom got us a special treat to enjoy later for this lovely holiday. 🍪

Sissy: Yay, something to look forward to.

Bubsy: Mom and dad tried to get a special treat from Crumbl Cookie for themselves, but no such luck as the line was out the door and down the street and our parents were not feeling like standing in the cold that long for a cookie. 🍪 🥶

Sissy: I don’t blame them. It’s COLD! It’s been cold all week.

Bubsy: And guess what?…it’s going to get colder. Eleven degrees is predicted next week.

Sissy: I will not be going outside at all. 🥶 I don’t do rain, big winds, or extreme cold. No thanks, Mother Nature. 👎

Bubsy: Sunny and perfect…that’s all sissy likes! 😉

Sissy: Hey, let’s keep this short so we can enjoy the evening with mom and dad! I heard them mention a double feature movie night. You know what that means?…

Bubsy: Big time snuggles on the couch. Let’s go, sissy! Hope everyone out there has a fun and lovely ♥️ day!

Tough Week

Bubsy: It was quite the week! Not in a good way! A very tough week for our mom. A week where she contemplated having to leave her job each day, because she feels it’s too hard on her body.

Sissy: Mom was a mess all week long. And this weekend hasn’t been much better for her. But enough about mom, let’s talk about me.

Bubsy: You look dazed and confused, sissy.

Sissy: I am dazed and confused. I went to bed and the Dallas sports world made sense. I woke up and NOTHING makes sense. 😵‍💫

Bubsy: We are definitely reeling in Big D after hearing the breaking news early this morning. No more Luca! What are you doing, Mavs???? Trading the best player you’ve had since Dirk. And then trading him to the LAKERS! Are you kidding me?

Sissy: Mom and dad’s jaws literally hit the floor when this breaking news was reported. To be fair mom was already laying on the floor dealing with her issues when the news broke. So her jaw didn’t have far to go. 😆

Bubsy: So let’s review…the Cowboys made a boneheaded and unexciting new head coach choice and the Mavs traded their BEST player to the Lakers. What is going on? How could this be!

Sissy: You know how mom often pulls me aside and tells me, “Baby girl, I’m going to need you to get it together and keep it together.” …well that’s what I’m saying to the Dallas sports teams. Get it together and keep it together. Geez!

Bubsy: So what is ahead for the week. Hopefully mom feels better. Hopefully, mom can put her thoughts of needing to quit her job to rest too.

Sissy: If mom leaves her job who is going to buy our food? I need to eat!

Bubsy: I think mom would get another job pretty quick if she suddenly leaves her current job.

Sissy: Really? Because we’re still waiting on dad to get another job.

Bubsy: Mom is different than dad. And mom has the added pressure of needing to provide health insurance for herself. So if she suddenly leaves her current job she’ll get a new one pretty fast. Don’t worry your pretty little head too much. 😉

Sissy: Well I hope you are right.

Bubsy: So sissy, let’s wrap this up and go to bed…it’s passed our bedtime. Below is our bath day pic.
