The Fun Police

The Bubs: So sissy, how was your week, were you on patrol?

Cupcake: I was working overtime to see to it no one had fun but me. 

The Bubs: For those that don't know, little sissy-cupcake is like the "fun police". She seems to object to anyone having fun unless it has been approved by her. She doesn't care who you are, unless you are our momma, but otherwise she doesn't care who you are she'll bark at you for having fun. Last night the cat was chasing a bug and Cupcake was not putting up with the cat having any type of fun.

Cupcake: She was having fun by chasing that bug? I thought she was trying to annoy me. 

The Bubs: Nope, she was after that bug. 

Cupcake: The whole thing was mom's fault she let the bug inside the house when she took your royal highness outside. By the way, why do you like going outside so much?

The Bubs: There is nothing more freeing than running through my backyard. I also need to check on things. Make sure it's not being overrun by squirrels, raccoons, and possums. I seem to especially have a slight issue with possums. 

Cupcake: Oh my gosh, you lose your ever loving mind when a possum appears. 

The Bubs: I must admit, I do. When possums appear I lose control. All I want is for that possum to get off our fence. But they always seem to balance on the top of the fence just to bother me.

Cupcake: Possums don't bother me. I never go off the porch so how can I get bothered by them.

The Bubs: Exactly, you never go off the porch so nothing ever bothers you and half the time you call an Uber ahead of time to give you a lift outside. 

Cupcake: What can I say, I got my Uber driver(aka Mom) well trained. Although she never provides me with a water bottle and mints like I've heard real Uber drivers provide. So next time I'll dock her a little in my review. 

The Bubs: I'm surprised you know how to use your feet, since you get carried around so much.

Cupcake: Hey, my precious feet deserve to be treated like the treasures they are. Anyway, this has been "fun" but I have to get back on patrol to be sure the cat isn't having too much fun. 

So Productive

Landon: It's Sunday evening, the day has gone fast thanks to time change. Sunday also means the new week is upon us. I overheard momma saying she's had a productive day. I've had a productive day too. I productively did very little. I walked. I chased a treat ball all around. I posed for pics to make momma happy. Yep, productivity at it's finest. How about you sissy-Cupcake? 

Skylar: I was super productive for a Sunday too. I laid around on the couch. I pulled at your ears to try to annoy you. I barked when something fell off the washing machine, which was extremely necessary. 

Landon: How was last week for you?

Skylar: It was better than then 10 days ago. Less rain is always better for me.

Landon: Oh geez, lets not talk about that rain, and issues we had ten days ago. It was a living nightmare for both of us. I was convinced momma and daddy had left us to fend for ourselves. I was convinced I was stuck with just you. 

Skylar: Hey, I'm not that bad. 

Landon: You aren't that good either. Anyway, momma and daddy were okay. The tornado sirens finally went off and by 2:26 AM the power came back on in our house. Which meant mom and dad could finally get back in the house. They were no longer locked out in tornado weather. Moments after the garage door went up I nearly lost my mind at the sight of my momma running in the door. Did you notice she ran straight to me and scooped me up in her arms?

Skylar:  I noticed. But whatever! I'm still her cupcake. 

Landon: Well, sissy let's hope for a great new week. It's a pinchable type of week, so I have heard. Watch the calendar close to know when to get some green on. Peace and paws to all!

The Takeover....We're Back

Greetings to all! For it is, the Bubs and alongside me is my sidekick, aka Cupcake. This is a takeover! Yep, Cupcake and I are taking over this blog. No one wants to hear about the boring humans, #amiright ? So from now on look forward to us furries running this blog. I'm sure I can...I mean, WE, can do better than the human mom any day. 

We've been away for a long time....I mean, A LONG TIME, from this blog. That's because we have been over on Instagram. But Instagram is so hard for our momma to keep up with in recent months so we have decided to come back to writing our blog. This time around, this blog will be focused about 99.9% on us furkids. As it should be. ;) 

Allow me to reintroduce us to the blogging world. I am, Landon, but my nickname is Bubs or Bubsy. And I have a persnickety little sidekick sissy, her name is Skylar. However, mom nicknamed her Cupcake while we were waiting for her to be weaned from her breeder's home. So hence, the blog is now called "The Bubs and Cupcake". We look so forward to allowing you a glimpse into our all important dog world. Til next time, peace and paws. :)
