Heat Wave

Bubsy: Sissy, this heat wave is freaking me out.

Sissy: Freaking you out? I’m the one that looks like I stuck my paw in a light socket. My hair acts weird with all this humidity. And the humidity is through the roof right now.πŸ₯΅

Bubsy: πŸ˜†…No joke, sissy’s had quite the time this week with all this humidity. Mom just gave me another haircut so the humidity is not bothering me one bit.

Sissy: It’s bothering me enough for both of us. I got so much puffiness with my hair I look like a Pomeranian.

Bubsy: You are as snippy as most Pomeranians too. Just a side note, our mom had to go to the store and get some anti-frizz spray for sissy’s hair.

Sissy: You mean, for my luscious long locks.

Bubsy: Whatever you say, sissy! πŸ™„ In other news around here, mom went shopping for dad’s bday party and she bought us a couple things too.

Sissy: Gotta love that! Although it wasn’t treats so maybe it’s kind of disappointing.

Bubsy: I think she got us some party gear too.

Sissy: Now it’s really not exciting to me. I’m not into wearing stuff. I prefer being nakey.

Bubsy: Sissy likes to flaunt what she has and doesn’t have, so no clothes for her if she can figure out how to wiggle out of the outfit mom puts her in.πŸ™ˆ

Sissy: Let’s wrap this up…bye for now. Enjoy the pics below of my big bro as he helped mom get out more patriotic decorations this morning. He chose a flag then carried it around the house. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Happy Father's Day

We want to take a moment to acknowledge the guy that gives us endless belly rubs, our nightly treats, throws toys for our long running fetch sessions, allows yours truly to treat him as a jungle gym, and puts up with us daily. Well, mainly puts up with sissy. I'm a dream to have around.πŸ˜‰

In all seriousness, he doesn't just put up with us. He loves us as if we were human kiddos. And we love him so much. I believe we scored pretty good on his gift this year too. We had a red, white, and blue theme for his gifts. ❤️πŸ€πŸ’™

To all the dads out there have a great Father's day or Pawther's day as it is known in our household! πŸ˜‰

Crazy Sissy

Bubsy: It is no secret that sissy has a steady dose of crazy pills each day. She is bonafide nuts.

Sissy: Hey, I am not.

Bubsy: Are you sure? Tell the people what happened yesterday.

Sissy: Everything that occurred was necessary.

Bubsy: πŸ™„πŸ˜¬

Sissy: There we were riding in the car with mom. Mom wasn't sure excactly where she was going, so she turned on the navigation. The navigation voice nearly scared me half to death. And the worst part was it was a British sounding voice. I was irate. Irate...I tell you. First, this voice scares me. Then this voice is British sounding. I mean, I think she was speaking English but I can't be sure? The voice sounded weird.

Bubsy: Sissy heard this voice and nearly lost every wit she ever had. She was barking nonstop at the navigation voice. Mom had to pull over and figure out how to find the right road by looking at the map instead of using the guided directions because sissy wouldn't stop. I nearly thought I was going to suffer significant hearing loss listening to her as she barked way to close to my head as I laid on the car seat. I tell ya, life with sissy is something else. πŸ™‰

Sissy: I still maintain I had a good reason to bark. I am an American pupper. I am in my car in America. Being driven by my American chauffeur(aka our mom), why on earth is this British sounding voice trying to tell us where to go. Oh and let's be even more specific....I'm a Texan! Not just American but Texan! Everything is bigger and better in Texas. I see all the billboards around town that say that. I can read.

Bubsy: Sissy, be careful, let's not offend those that aren't Texans....like our momma.

Sissy: Mom's basically Texan by now. We accept her as Texan.

Bubsy: I guess that's good news for mom.πŸ˜‰

Someone’s Bee-day

Bubsy: Today is a special day for us. We are just buzzing around in these costumes for a good reason. Sissy are you going to "bee-have" today?

Sissy: Nope. probaBEE not!

Bubsy: Without further adieu, let us send a BEE-utiful birthday wish to our  AZ grammie! Hope she is having a fun and buzzworthy BEE-day!

Sissy:  And I second that...happy BEE-day, to our grammie, that I like as long as she doesn't try to get too close to me.

Bubsy: Well, she's currently in Phoenix, so she's certainly not close.

Sissy: If she was here I'd tolerate her in the same room with me. Just not into her petting me or trying to hold me. I'm a very precious BEE-ing. There's certain levels of my acceptance one must pass before I let them hold me.

Bubsy: Perhaps, next time she visits us here you will allow her to hold you. I think she'd really like to hold you.

Sissy: We will see! I'm kind of leery of most everyone, except for momma and daddy. I am working on expanding my circle of peeps I trust.

Bubsy: Good for you. It's about time. You don't need to be scared of everyone and your own shadow.

Sissy: My shadow doesn't freak me out as much as mom's shadow or even your shadow. You look huge in shadow form. LOL!

Bubsy: I am huge and studly. πŸ˜‰

Sissy: Oh geez!πŸ™„...on that note, let's wrap this up and tell our grammie happy BEE-day one more time.

Bubsy: Have an amazing time celebrating and go treat yourself to some ice cream. That's what I hope to get on my birthday!🍦

Trimmed Up

Bubsy: Hello there sissy dear. You are looking a little trimmed up.

Sissy: Yep, mom's obsession with her scissors coming near my luscious locks continues. She didn't take too much off my long hair so I don't have to be too upset with her. It seemed to take her forever to trim me though. Geesh!

Bubsy: I'm sure the length it took mom to trim you has nothing to do with the fact you are difficult for every snip with the scissors, right?

Sissy: That's right, certainly not my fault mom is so slow trimming my hair. πŸ˜‰

Bubsy: You sure do give mom a challenge for trims. You made her watch a bunch of youtube videos to learn how to do a scissor haircut since you refuse to allow the grooming clippers near you.

Sissy: I look at it this way...I'm helping mom prepare for a backup career. If she ever gets tired of teaching she can start grooming difficult dogs fulltime. And I say to mom....you are welcome!

Bubsy: You are so helpful. So helpful to be forcing mom to learn new things to deal with difficult you.

Sissy: Hope mom thanks me someday. And what about you...you are looking VERY trimmed up big bro. Mom seriously chopped your hair off.

Bubsy: Yeah my hair is quite short this time around. But it's fine with me. The weather is getting pretty warm these days so I'll stay cooler. I like being outside so having shorter hair works for me since it's cooler.

Sissy: I'd freak if mom ever cut my hair as short as yours. 😱

Bubsy: You would never allow for that. I think your long hair is safe for the most part. Just barely there scissor trims for you. But at least I'm staying cooler than you.

Sissy: πŸ™„

Bubsy: Hope everyone has a relaxing Sunday. We are trying to relax some after helping mom water her flowers.
