Cats are scary. No joke, they love to scare humans. I would say Piper was simply getting into the Halloween spirit by constructing her latest scare tactic but she's commonly known for scare tactics.
Our little Piper has a new spot to sit in this house...the back of the couch. Not just any spot on the back of the couch, nope, she has claimed the far right section because when she stands she can see into the kitchen. Oh that Simon taught her well! Seek out the spot that gives a birds eye view of the kitchen. He would be so proud!
Moving on, it was Thursday night, Brad was at tennis practice and I was home alone with the fur-babies. There I am sitting on the couch, rather late in the evening, Thursday night football had wrapped up minutes before and the TV was off. I was deep in thought constructing a word on Words With Friends on my Note. A moment later I suddenly felt something like a human finger or hand touching my neck. I'm not going to lie, I quickly screamed and turned around, it was nothing alarming though, only my cat-daughter sitting at the top of the couch with an extended paw and sneaky look on her face that read..."got ya". I had completely forgotten she was curled up and asleep on the back of the couch directly above where I was sitting. When she woke up I guess she couldn't resist giving her mommie a good scare.
Yes, Piper you got me good. I felt rather embarrassed after realizing it was only Piper, certainly no need to scream. What can I say? Living with a cat-daughter is scary! LOL!
