Last night I walked into the spare bathroom to prepare the room for the boys to enjoy their Kongs. No Kongs on the carpet. Thankfully we have a relatively large spare bathroom, to the tile floor they are relegated to.
I'm standing in the middle of the bathroom getting things ready when I suddenly hear a noise from the spare closet. It was a strange rustling sound. I walk over to the closet(in our home our closets are off from the bathrooms not the bedrooms). Our spare closet is partly Piper's room. As soon as I look into the closet I call Piper's name. Out pops her head from behind things on a medium height shelf. Yes, she looked cute. But she was guilty as heck! I knew instantly what she was doing based on where in the closet she sat. She had made a hole in her brothers' food bag which is stored on that shelf and she was munching out. Oh geez!
I started in on disciplining her. Brad soon appeared to see what our cat-daughter had gotten into. As I finished reprimanding her, Brad walked away mumbling something about how I sounded like a drill sergeant. LOL! That's right little kitty...I am, mommy and drill sergeant of this household. Cats are tricky. They climb and they can fit themselves into the tightest areas possible. I never would have thought she would climb up to that shelf and discover her brothers' food. But she did! Can you tell I'm a little more used to the thought processes of dogs versus cats? If Simon only knew his little sis stole some of his food...he would've disciplined her too!
