Nephews Weekend

It's a nephews weekend for us. Both of our nephews have come to spend so time with us this weekend. Now that they are older it's a bit hard to get schedules to line up, but we made it work for this weekend.

So when the nephews are here there's three, no wait, make that four things you can count on: 

-Big gaming action! From board games to Xbox games! They, along with their Uncle Brad will be up until crazy late playing games.

-Nephews time equals brownies time! Brownies are for sure when Wes and Dylan arrive. At some point I even sneak back in the kitchen to make cookies so they have something to take home with them.

-Pancakes please!!  My kitchen will be pancake central come Sunday morning. Dylan requests pancakes every time he's here. He always has a special request usually for the type of pancakes, hopefully Wes agrees come morning!

-Pet me NOW!  Cody is in heaven having extra people to dole on him. He's super friendly as everyone knows. When company arrives he's super happy to welcome them.

So that's some for sure things happening with our weekend!

I'll close with a little story. Soon after Brad and I got married we decided it would be nice to make a point to have Dylan come over to spend a weekend at least once a month. Now he's a bit older so we've gotten away from that. It's not as frequent, understandably though, he has other commitments. Anyway back to my story, it was the first time he had come over to our place for the weekend. I put the boys and Storm(yes, Storm was still with us) to bed in the usual pet sleeping quarters. When I got up the next morning to get all pets up for the day, Cody was missing. I figured what had taken place, as I quietly looked in the spare room where Dylan was to spot Cody curled up next to the bed. He had begged Dylan until Dylan let him in. I knew it! Yet another thing that can be counted on this weekend...Cody will try his hardest to sleep in the same room as Dylan.

Should be fun!
