Time To Get Caught Up!

Well, it's been some days since I posted on this little blog. Welcome to October!  I love October just as much as September. Time to get caught up.

We finally are celebrating the fact that our elevator in the building is fixed.  FINALLY!!!! It has been 7 very long weeks of walking up and down 4 flights of stairs. Try to convince to sleepy pugs to go down 4 flights of stairs when it's barely light outside. Now try to convince 2 pugs to go down 4 flights of stairs when it's super late at night and all they want to do is be comfy in their beds. Man, it was a ridiculously long wait for that elevator to get fixed. I felt like I was being punished for something. I also felt like I suddenly lived on the TV show The Big Bang Theory...their elevator on that show has been broken since the show debuted. Anyway, it's fixed now! Life can return to normal. ;)

Today got started early for all of us. Typically it gets started early for myself and the trio of pets but Brad had an early tennis match to get to. I woke him up as I left our place with the pugs for their early walk. I was only slightly concerned he would roll over and go back to sleep instead of get up. 

Earlier this week we were surprised to find out Brad was going to have more than one tennis match on the weekend. The very first match of the season was rained out and to make-up the match the teams will meet up tomorrow. So tennis today and tomorrow! All wives that are happy to see their husband go off to tennis matches twice in one weekend raise your hand....my hand is NOT up!!!!!!

It was a funny moment when Brad got the news he had to play Saturday and Sunday, he first groaned then sped over to the Cowboys schedule hanging on our fridge all while mumbling about how he can't miss out on watching the Cowboys game. Luckily for him, no missing the Cowboys game. They play tomorrow night. He'll be missing football but not his beloved Cowboys!
