This is the third Saturday of this stay in place, quarantine. I'm not a fan of the word quarantine. Sounds too worrisome to me. I'd rather say the phrase "stay in place".
Another Saturday where I've watched way too much of Too Cute, which isn't a bad thing at all. Landon loves watching it too. Brad is currently napping. I guess "father like daughter" because our cat-daughter is napping too.
How is everyone on supplies? Are things getting low? We were low on produce and a few other things. We ordered groceries for pick up this past week. We'll most likely do that again this week if we need to. Due to lack of supplies the stores have I think we came away with maybe a little over half of what we ordered. One of my cousin's in Phx was asking me a bunch of questions about ordering groceries as his supplies are getting low. He's got a wife and 5 kids to worry about. I feel for people with bigger families during this time. Here's a little tip...for certain items order different flavors/brands. For certain things do like a first choice, second choice type of thing. If you want Barilla Marinara also select Ragu Chunky Vegetable Marinara. If you want brown rice select Uncle Ben's and another brand. At this point the chances of the store having everything you order is very slim. Next time I will make that slight adjustment to better my chances of getting certain items. I'm not trying to hoard the items I'm just trying to allow for an "option B" if they don't have "option A".
It's been an extremely long time since I've been to a library. That being said I'm almost 100% certain there's no handbook sitting on a dusty library shelf titled "How To Deal With The Corona Virus When It Happens". This is an unprecedented global situation. In the past it seems when our country has faced a crisis, it's come together. However, I feel like this crisis is bringing out the worst in people. People getting in fights over supplies. National guard being called on to protect trucks delivering toilet paper to stores. Governors of certain states on TV ranting. Hillary Clinton posting a pic on social media about this crisis in an effort to throw shade at the President. Come on people! Grow up, act decent, and be helpful not hateful. That's going to be my new slogan until this is over...be helpful not hateful.
