Hello December

Bubsy: Well hello there, December! Our weather feels like December has been here for awhile. Am I right, sissy?

Sissy: You’re speaking the truth. 

Bubsy: Good news is…it’s going to warm up a little this week. But enough about our weather, it’s been fun having mom home for Thanksgiving break but back to work for her tomorrow. 😕 

Sissy: Well with mom back to work, I’ll finally get back to getting my extra naps in. Following mom around can be exhausting and I haven’t been getting proper rest. 

Bubsy: You poor little thing. 🙄…Since it’s December 1st…my countdown to Christmas has officially begun. Which means my countdown to grandma arriving has officially begun too. 

Sissy: Oh geez, you have too many things beginning today. Wait…wait…what did you say? Grandma is coming?

Bubsy: Yep, I’m speaking the truth. Grandma arrives in exactly 2 weeks. Two Sundays from now.

Sissy: And who authorized that?

Bubsy: I’m certain it was momma.

Sissy: And why didn’t she run it by me? 

Bubsy: I’m sure she didn’t think she needed to. Because she doesn’t need to. 

Sissy: I guess I need to send mom a memo, letting her know what my expectations are for houseguests. 

Bubsy: You do that, sissy. I’m sure mom is eager to read about your expectations. 🙄🤪…Sissy, you are crazy!  Anyway, let’s end this and get to watching the snow game that’s on TV right now. Since it’s December and it’s chilly here, tonight we are already in our Christmas pjs for our pic this week. Have a great week everyone!
