Congrats to me and the pugs! As of today we have lived in Dallas for 6 months. So far so good! I like the weather. I like the people. The traffic moves faster than in Phoenix. I didn't have to suffer through 115 degree heat this past summer. Not to mention I know what rain looks like again. Back in Phoenix rain is a bit of a foreign concept. Overall the state of Texas has much more to offer too. I think all three of us have adjusted quite well!!
I've only missed Phoenix once since moving here. Even then it was for a brief time. I guess I'm not all that surprised that I don't miss AZ that much. Especially since when I moved back there from Vegas I had plenty of opportunity to make it more permanent and I didn't.
I have to admit though there are still moments when I stop and look around then say to myself, 'I can't believe I live in Dallas'! Last year at this time I never would have imagined I would be living here. Now I can't imagine being in Phoenix dealing with the over 90 degree temperatures in November. What a change!
