It will be my first Thanksgiving in Texas! I'm excited to be here and I am not regretting my decision to stay in Texas for the holiday. However, I am preparing myself for a few slight homesick moments that may creep up on Thursday.
There's only been one other Thanksgiving that I have spent not in Phoenix and without family visiting me where I was. That was a very drizzly Seattle Thanksgiving. Thankfully the weather in Dallas will be better than in Seattle. One huge difference this Thanksgiving will be that I will be cheering for the Cowboys to win on Thanksgiving day. Not that I have hoped for them to lose in the past but I have been more neutral than I am now. Yes, you all read correctly I will be cheering for the Cowboys to win! I can't stand the Raiders!
