Menu Change

I was chatting with my mom on the phone last night when she told me in an excited voice, "I got my way." I was a little confused at first. However, I quickly clued in that she must be talking about the Thanksgiving day meal with her sister's family. The original plan was Mexican food at their fave restaurant. During a recent visit with her sister and family for the day my mom told them she was a traditionalist and wanted the typical menu for Thanksgiving. After my mom left their house a little more than an hour later her sister called to tell her they had changed their minds about Mexican food. They reconsidered and now plan on serving the traditional Thanksgiving day meal. Sorry Tommy Turkey you will be cooked in their household as well now!

Soon after my mom told me about the menu change she reminded me that my blog was now inaccurate. So this post is strictly for my mom! Lol!!!! I'm happy they decided against their original plan, it will make Thanksgiving day more enjoyable for my mom definitely.

Now my only thought is....will Mexican food be discussed for Christmas? Just for the record I still find that side of my family to be a little bizarre since they considered Mexican food for Thanksgiving and I still find my home state bizarre too since Mexican food restaurants are open and taking reservations for Thanksgiving! Lol!!!
