Reunited

After 16 years, 7 months and exactly 3 weeks Cody's life here with us ended as he crossed the rainbow bridge this morning. No doubt when he crossed that bridge he was immediately greeted by his younger brother and older cat-sister. I'm certain it was quite the high energy reunion. The brotherly pug era has started up again, just in a different place. My dear sweet puggies have been officially reunited!

Cody is at peace. No longer frustrated. No longer unable to see. No longer unable to hear. He has regained all his mobility and is likely romping around with Simon right now.

It's been a long few months. Actually more than a few months. It's been a long 6 months, close to 7. We held on to him as long as we could. I did my best to care for him. It was finally just time...time to let him go be with Simon and Storm. Time to relieve him of his frustrations.

He was a great puggie. He lived a good life and even got to experience his own backyard for the last few months. I hope he is happy now. I hope he walked across the rainbow bridge fully understanding his mommie's love for him is unending! Always and forever mama's boy!!! R.I.P. Cody-man!
