Cody's Life In Pictures (Part 2)

Part 2 is an eclectic group of pics focusing on the later half of my Cody-man's life. These pics are taken from a wide range of years. From middle age to senior citizen days. Oh and the bottom pic is one of my ALL TIME faves of my two boys. I took it while out walking them one afternoon. I loved walking my boys! I absolutely loved spending that kind of time with them...me and them and absolutely no distractions.

How will Cody be remembered? Very fondly! Oh yes, very fondly! His sweet demeanor. His desire to please. His super playful nature. He was a pug that could wait to eat dinner. He usually had an important date with a toy or blanket that needed to be roughed up before he could report to the kitchen for dinner. Without a doubt he was toy motivated. He loved getting new toys and carefully protected new toys from his siblings that he deemed to not love toys as much as him.

He especially had a liking for tennis balls. Brad used to load a can up with tennis balls then open it near Cody as the tennis balls fell from the can to the floor Cody would bounce around from ball to ball. He thought having tennis balls raining down on him was the BEST thing ever. He however, did not think the same thing about actual raindrops from above. He wasn't a fan of rain, snow, or cold. If it wasn't perfectly sunny out then leave him inside with his toys. LOL! Cody was also super friendly, he had quite the "look at me" dance he would perform for people when they came over to visit. He would be spinning and jumping about so much it was hard for people to actually greet him. I often referred to him as my "happy-go-lucky" pug due to his dancing and strong playful desire.

Obviously I'm going to miss him. I will now be missing not just Simon but both my puggies immensely. But overall, I'm relieved Cody's relieved. He's relieved of all his misery and frustrations. He is back with his brother and happy again. That "look at me" dance he used to do he likely did as he walked over that rainbow bridge to greet Simon and Storm. R.I.P my dear sweet puggies! Mommie will always and forever love you both. You two were the best pugs I could have ever wished for. It was an absolute HONOR to be your human mommie!
