Is Spring Coming?

Well if you live anywhere near our section of Texas, how did you sleep last night? Did you wake your husband up because the thundering storm that included hail was worrisome to you? No? Okay then it was just me. That hail sounded like golf balls hitting our roof. It probably wasn't that big but it sounded like it was. Clearly we are entering the Springtime/Possible Hail season...aka, tornado season. I am happy to see Spring temps are starting to pop up in the 7-day forecast, more than ready to say goodbye to winter temps. However, hail/tornado season does make for some nervous nights/days.

Speaking of Springtime...time change is tonight. This time change is harder to get used to in my opinion. In the Fall it's an easier transition. Always easier to go backwards and have more time versus having to speed up an hour. I'm curious to see how Landon responds to time change. He is not very schedule oriented except for waking up in the morning. He sees the light from outside peeking through on the sides of the drapes and he's up for the day. However, that seems quite typical, to realize the day is starting and want to get up. He's Cody in the area of schedule...meaning, he doesn't adhere to one.

Anyway, we had a Redbox movie night last night. We watched Instant Family. It was good...decent! More of a serious tone than I expected. A little sad but overall heart-warming and purposeful. I was disappointed it wasn't more funny than it was. Very few funny moments. So don't be fooled it's not exactly a "comedy" despite it being categorized that way. I would recommend it, simply understand it's more heart-warming and purposeful than funny! However, let me add...Grandma Sandy is a hoot! She added some good spice!

Not sure what the plan of our day is today. Brad has tennis at TCU, they have indoor courts so no threat of weather will stop today's tennis. I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to do while he's gone this afternoon. I generally do not have a problem keeping busy so I'll find something to do. Plus there's always the possibility of some experimental cookie baking!
