Mother's Day Saturday

Bubs: Sissy, it was quite the Mother's day yesterday wasn't it?

Cupcake: Is that what that was?...Mother's day. But wait, isn't Mother's day next weekend?

Bubs: Yes, Mother's day is next weekend, the real one. But we had an early Mother's day this year.

Cupcake: Oh geez, I can't keep up with all this.

Bubs: Yeah, I was nearly confused too. Grandma and grandpa are going out of town for 10 days and won't be in town for the real Mother's day so we had to celebrate yesterday. But next weekend mom is planning an adventure that includes us her fur babies.

Cupcake: Something fun to look forward to. Mom plans some good adventures for us.

Bubs: You actually already had quite the adventure yesterday. You finished your mini refresher training classes. Good for you, sissy!

Cupcake: I did it. And this week on my final week there I did not embarrass mom.

Bubs: How did you embarrass mom last week at training? I can't remember.

Cupcake: I barked a few times at a guy that sneezed. I mean, seriously dude, keep your nasty germs to yourself and do not sneeze in my presence. I'm tiny so it might not take many germs to do harm to me. I can't take any chances. Anyway, apparently the incident was kind of embarrassing for mom. I, however, was not embarrassed at all.

Bubs: Sissy, you are a trip! So did you enjoy our time celebrating with everyone at grandma and grandpa's house yesterday?

Cupcake: I would've enjoyed it more if I had been served a burger like all the humans were piggie out on. It was a long day. I fell asleep in mom's arms about twenty minutes after we got home last night. But I had a lot to do in the day. I got up early and went on the long walk with you and mom. Then mom and I went to my final class at school. Then mom and I had to drive about an hour to get to grandma and grandpa's house. You had already went to grandma and grandpa's house with daddy. Mom and I arrived late and ate cold food. Oh wait, I didn't get any food. Mom ate cold food. LOL! Then I had to explore every inch of grandma and grandpa's house and backyard to make sure nothing had changed since the last time.

Bubs: Yep, I explored a lot too. And then I almost decided to jump off the retaining wall and nearly gave mom a panic attack as she sprung up off her feet in the blink of an eye and nearly threw people out of her path to get to me before I jumped off the wall. I'm 100% a boy! A daredevil at times. Mom realizes she has to watch me close.

Cupcake: One big difference in us. I would have never thought for a second about jumping off that retaining wall. It's way too high and my feet are way too precious to hit the ground too hard. No way!

Bubs: No one will ever accuse you of being a daredevil. You are scared of your shadow and the shade of a tree. LOL! Time to wrap this up friends, hugs and paws to all!
