Jealous Much?

Bubsy: Whew, we are running slightly late with our post today.

Sissy: Blame mom! 

Bubsy: Mom just got a little busy preparing her lesson plans and preparing her curriculum items for tomorrow.

Sissy: She was busy building houses. 

Bubsy: Yep, sissy is right. She’s doing a unit on the three little pigs and she made houses to represent each pig’s house. 

Sissy: The houses she made certainly would not withstand the hurricane winds we had this week. 🌬️ 

Bubsy: The hurricane that was aimed at Texas did not end up being too difficult to deal with. Three days of very strong winds but at least we didn’t need sandbags for the rain. 

Sissy: But that humidity that came with the hurricane was ridiculous. My hair was a mess. And mom was using dryer sheets to tame it.

Bubsy: At least you smelled like fresh linen most of the week.😆 Now let’s talk about something else. You! So sissy, are you jealous much? 

Sissy: Me? Jealous? Nope, it’s not my style.

Bubsy: Mercy me, your nose is going to grow like Pinocchio’s. 👃 

Sissy: No clue what you are talking about or who Pinocchio is?

Bubsy: So there I was the other night on momma’s lap in our big chair. I was soaking in all the momma love. I was kissing her, she was kissing and hugging me. 

Sissy: It was disgusting!🤢 

Bubsy: Well next thing I knew. Sissy jumped off the couch and charged at the big chair where mom and I were sitting. She then started barking in an angry way. When mom got after her she turned her little sassy booty to mom then sashayed off in the opposite direction. She was so jealous it was unbelievable! Mom reprimanded her after she finished her sassy walk off. Trouble finds you, sissy….trouble finds you. 

Sissy: I had seen enough, it was time to break up the love fest. 🙄

Bubsy: Whatever, sissy. Moving on, since our Sunday has featured projects being done around here, I’m now getting kind of sleepy and those Olympic trials are on late here tonight. No clue how mom is going to watch much of the track and field and get to bed on time. 

Sissy: A nap for mom and us sounds good to me. 

Bubsy: As I mentioned before it’s been a busy day of projects for mom. Today in our pic below we were trying to help give mom inspiration for one of her lessons next month involving a fishing exercise. As you can see, sissy has me pinned down probably trying to steal the fishing pole between my paws. She’s a bit of a troublemaker . 😉🎣 Hoping everyone out there enjoys their week.
