We’re Ready

Bubsy: It’s been a day already! Whew! How are you feeling, sissy?

Sissy: I’ve kept mom busy tending to me. But I think I’m feeling better. 

Bubsy: The parents were running late for church this morning. They got in mom’s car started to go down the road when they realized one tire was flat. They came home, changed vehicles then left again for church. 

Sissy: Just a few minutes after they got home from church early this afternoon….I….🤮….it wasn’t a pretty sight. But my momma took great care of me. Then she started to look for a place that was open to get the tire issue solved. Mom’s car needed new brakes a few weeks ago now a tire issue. Mercy me! 

Bubsy: I think it’s to be expected at times that her car needs some extra maintenance at times since she goes back and forth to work everyday. In some ways the day has been going by fast. Furthermore, can you believe what tomorrow is sissy? 

Sissy: I’m not sure? Tell me.

Bubsy: It’s July! Time to party a lot this month. 🎉 

Sissy: We already partied some last night. We saw fireworks lighting up the night sky. 🎆 

Bubsy: Get ready for more come Thursday. 

Sissy: I’m ready. I like fireworks. But I also really like getting nosey about all the neighbors. 

Bubsy: Oh geez, yes….I know how you are. Sissy is so nosey! Mom was holding her last night as we sat in the front yard watching fireworks. Many neighbors were sitting nearby. And little sissy was craning her neck at times to be nosey about the neighbors. Mom kept telling her to stop being embarrassing. 😳 

Sissy: I was not being embarrassing. I was just making sure people were doing what they were supposed to be doing. And I didn’t appreciate too much laughter and nonsense.

Bubsy: Well I’m definitely ready for more fireworks on Thursday. I watched the whole entire show last night…I was not craning my neck to see what the neighbors were doing. And now, let’s wrap this up. Hope everyone out there that’s reading this enjoys all the festivities of the 4th! And allow me to be the first to say…Happy Birthday America!
