Got Bread?

Bubsy: We finally got a bread pic done. Good for us and good for mom! Congrats to our momma, as of the 10th she has been the sole provider in our household for one full year. Don't think anyone saw that one coming. 😉 

Sissy: Nope, I didn’t see it coming. But good for mom to be winning the bread for the last year. Girl power! 

Bubsy: Let’s see…what else has been going on? It’s Bastille Day, sissy. Happy Bastille day, eat something French today.

Sissy: If I was offered something French I would certainly eat it. 😋 I hear great things about French fries, French cheeses and their breads and desserts. So please….someone offer me an eclair today. 

Bubsy: In other news, we got groomed. That was an ordeal yesterday. 

Sissy: The timing of it all was quite the ordeal…our grooming appointment with our momma got interrupted by some idiot in Pennsylvania trying to take out the former president. 😤

Bubsy: By the time the interruption was over and we got back to grooming we weren’t done being groomed until our dinner time. 

Sissy: Which means dinner was delayed. Which means I had this look on my face about the delayed situation….🤨

Bubsy: I sure am glad I got groomed just in time for the heatwave that is coming our way. You are sporting one of your barely noticeable haircuts again. Are you sure mom even trimmed you? 

Sissy: You got a haircut. I however, insisted on mom just giving me a trim up. And I majorly questioned mom’s thought process on trimming my Grinch feet up so much when Christmas in July is approaching. 

Bubsy: Nobody celebrates Christmas in July. It’s just a dumb marketing thing for retail stores. 

Sissy: So I guess I shouldn’t expect a gift on the 25th? 🎁 

Bubsy: Nope, not the 25th. But you’ll get something on the 26th! When yours truly marks a special occasion. 🥳 

Sissy: Finally, putting up with being your little sissy these last several months will pay off. 😉

Bubsy: Well sissy, let’s wrap this up. Mom probably needs our help cutting out more things for her class.  Our momma is doing an entire week on Desert Discoveries. She has been very busy cutting out cactus shapes. She’s even crafted a few cactus and made 2 painted desert scenes. 🌵 

Sissy: Rumor has it mom should be good teaching about desert dwellings since she came from the desert. 🏜️ 

Bubsy: Not a rumor…it’s a fact. Mom was a Zonie. Anyway, hope everyone has a good week and stays safe. And may our country try to become more united like sissy and I, instead of being so divided. Sending some furry love to all. ❤️
