Let’s Celebrate

Bubsy: Well I scored. I scored BIG! I have been currently enjoying a nice birthday celebrating weekend. I could hardly wait for Friday night to arrive so I could open my gifts. And boy, I knew when gift opening time was. I was also very aware it was MY bday. 🎉 

Sissy: It’s all about him this weekend. I’m just here for the sideshow.

Bubsy: You are my very special sidekick, sissy. However, wouldn’t the people that read this like to know if you have been extra nice to me on my bday weekend?….

Sissy: I’m always nice…except for those few moments of the day I remind you how sassy I am. 

Bubsy: Sissy and her sass! She got an overdose of sass. She was letting mom have it this morning. Now going back to my bday celebration…as you can see from the pics it is a Team USA Olympic theme.

Sissy: Of course it is! The very obvious theme to go with. Notice the gifts are even Team USA colors. 😉…you can blame or give credit to mom for making sure that detail was achieved. 

Bubsy: Are you enjoying the Olympics so far?

Sissy: Yes, I am. Big thumbs down to the opening ceremonies but I’m starting to get over that fiasco. I’m looking forward to more gymnastics tonight. 

Bubsy: I was just about to ask you what your favorite has been thus far. 

Sissy: The synchronized diving was cool last night. But yeah, I enjoy the gymnastics..,just like mom. Mom loves the rowing, the cycling and equestrian events too. 

Bubsy: And do you know why she loves those events?

Sissy: Nope, not a clue. 

Bubsy: The rowing, cycling, and equestrian events are outside and she can get glimpses of Paris while watching those events. 😉

Sissy: And what about dad? What is his favorite? I don’t know.

Bubsy: None of it, this week. He’ll be happier next week when it’s the track & field events. Although, he of course enjoys the tennis. 

Sissy: The most interesting thing about these Olympics is mom's schedule. Will she be able to tear herself away from the Olympic coverage to go to bed early? 

Bubsy: I predict some late night’s for her over the next two weeks. Anyway, time to wrap this up so we can go have lunch. Hope everyone enjoys a good week and hope the Paris Olympics can get better and better. Go Team USA! 🇺🇸
