Busy Weekend

Bubsy: Good afternoon or good evening…whatever time of day it is for you. It’s practically evening for us. We are coming to you today freshly washed and dried.

Sissy: Geez, way to go at making us sound like laundry. 🙄

Bubsy: It’s been a busy weekend for us around here. Mom’s been busy washing us and the clothes. She’s also been busy making Snoopy a doghouse. But the big activity of the weekend has been an impromptu birthday party for our uncle. And it became an all nighter. Well not for me…I went to bed at a decent hour with mom. 

Sissy: Not for me either…I went to bed too.

Bubsy: It was a wild night of gaming action. The adults were playing some game called golf. ⛳️ 

Sissy: I thought golf was a quiet sport but the adults in our house were clapping loudly and cheering even louder. 

Bubsy: Wait sissy…football season is upon us. Mom and dad and whomever comes to their football watching parties are going to be LOUD. But don’t worry, your barking is always louder. Please, someone out there that reads this…send me earplugs. 🙉 

Sissy: I’m not that loud. But I do feel the need to bring order to this household when it needs order. 

Bubsy: So what else should we talk about, sissy? 

Sissy: Let’s talk about all the projects mom has done this weekend for her class. She bought lots of feathers as it’s some type of bird week for her curriculum.

Bubsy: I’m surprised we aren’t covered in feathers right now. 😆

Sissy: It’s feathery friends week but yet mom built Snoopy a doghouse and cut out a bunch of dog bones. I’m confused. 🤔 

Bubsy: A special day is tomorrow and she’s acknowledging that special day then she’ll go into her feathery friends curriculum starting on Tuesday. 

Sissy: Thanks, but I guess overall I don’t care that much. Well let’s wrap this up, bro, so we can move on to naptime before we are served dinner.
