School Time

Bubsy: It’s been quite the big weekend. The Olympics are finishing up. America raked in a few more gold medals. The relays last night had both parents hooting and hollering and us puppers wishing we had earplugs.😉 And how are you doing, sissy? 

Sissy: Other than mom trying to pull a fast one on me and give me a different treat than you…🤨…. I’m doing okay. 

Bubsy: Mom tried to give you a treat you like because the one she gave me you don’t like. But you got weird about things. Per the usual…anyway, Olympics are done and football is starting. The Cowboys game is on in our house right now. 

Sissy: Is Dak playing…oh that’s right he doesn’t do preseason. He might not even do the regular season…if he has more strip club incidents.

Bubsy: Let’s be fair, sissy…I think his strip club incident is a civil dispute now and he’ll likely pay off the accuser and move on. 

Sissy: Whatever! I’ll still be giving him the stink eye for most of the season. 😠

Bubsy: Let’s see what else is happening…my oh my…it’s tax free weekend here in our neck of the woods. Did you get out and shop till you dropped?

Sissy:  Nope, I didn’t buy a thing. My piggy bank is empty due to inflation! 😬

Bubsy: I didn’t buy anything either. But mom did. She waited for this weekend to go get her school supplies she wanted. And she splurged on colored binder clips.

Sissy: Mom does not know how to splurge if she calls that a splurge. Pitiful! Give me some money and I’ll go splurge. 🤑

Bubsy: Tomorrow is the big day…ring the bell…school is back in session for year-round and private schools and in two weeks traditional schools start. Mom has been anxiously preparing. Our pic below for the week is a school pic. We got our school bandanas on and we have some supplies just for our momma to wish her a great school year.
