Hello November

Bubsy: And just like that it’s November. We are back to being confused as we are dealing with the time changing and things happening at a different time than they happened yesterday.😵‍💫 Plus, mom and dad came home from Target today and said they saw plenty of Christmas stuff. Apparently Christmastime has arrived. Are you ready for Christmas, sissy?

Sissy: I’ve been composing my Christmas wish list, so I’m getting ready. Mom and dad agreed to put the tree up earlier than usual. Stay tuned we shall see just how early our Christmas tree arrives in our living room. 🌲 

Bubsy: Apparently this is a big week in America. We have no vote so we aren’t really too concerned about all the hoopla this week will bring.

Sissy: Wait, do we still live in America? I thought we lived in Texas?

Bubsy: Oh my gosh, SISSY! We live in Texas which is in America. Please look at a map. 

Sissy: I’m Generation Alpha…we don’t use maps. In my mind I’m just a Texan, and I don’t care about anything else. 

Bubsy: Well sissy, that is the general feeling for most Texans. So I guess you are not alone. Texans are all about TEXAS! 

Sissy: #texasstrong…as the bumper stickers and billboards say. 

Bubsy: Mother like dog daughter in this house. Our mom is more like a true Texan than ever before. She is soooooo out of the loop as to what is going on in the country. But she knows what’s going on in Texas. 😉 

Sissy: Does she? I’m not even sure she knows what’s going on in Texas. 

Bubsy: What else should we talk about, sissy? How about them Cowboys? 

Sissy: Oh geez, NO! 😡 The Cowboys at this point are competing for a high draft pick not a ticket to New Orleans. 

Bubsy: We are paying more attention to mom’s team at this point. Because you can likely put a fork in the cowboys…they are done. And Dak and Lamb were hobbled in today’s game. 😬

Sissy: Nothing but bad news surrounds the Cowboys. Good thing the Longhorns are doing good, otherwise, dad would be pulling his hair out. 🤪

Bubsy: Well let’s wrap this up. It’s time for the Sunday Night football game. Let’s go watch some more football with mom before her and I go to bed. 

Sissy: Have a good week! And if you don’t know who to vote for on Tues. Write my name in. I’ll make a great president. I’m very ornery and hard to deal with…perfect qualifications for the job. 😆😉
