Say What?

Bubsy: Breaking News…the Cowboys scored a touchdown today! FIRST TOUCHDOWN OF THE SEASON!!!!! Can you believe it, sissy?

Sissy: I missed it. I’ve started watching all games like this…🙈 

Bubsy: Only took 12 weeks of the NFL season to FINALLY get a touchdown. Mercy me! Mom and I have stopped wearing Cowboys gear, they are just that disappointing. ☹️ 

Sissy: Yeah, but we have to survive this season…and that’s been torture so far.

Bubsy: Well enough of all that, sissy. Our weekend has been filled with lots of phrases like: “huh?”, “say what?”, “what are you saying?”. Our mom has no voice. And dad can’t understand much of what she says. 😶

Sissy: And when she does try to talk, she sounds like a cartoon mouse. 🤣🤣🤣

Bubsy: Sissy’s right about that. 🐭 So yesterday after mom got all her chores around the house done sissy, mom, and yours truly binge watched cooking shows while dad was out of the house. 

Sissy: That’s more breaking news…dad actually left the house.🤣 He’s almost always home! We never get a break from him.😉 But yesterday dad went to a party and mom stayed home. Mom can’t eat foods at parties and she sounded like a cartoon mouse as we previously mentioned…so not much reason to go to the party. 

Bubsy: Mom’s been struggling a bit. She started getting sick on Thursday. Hopefully she can rest up enough today and have a good work week. Thankfully it’s a short week for her. Thanksgiving is coming fast. 

Sissy: I’m ready, especially since mom said she ordered a special treat for us to have on turkey day. 

Bubsy: I’m excited too. We will be going to our grandparents house. It will be lots of fun. 

Sissy: You will have fun. I will cling to mom the entire time. I do not cling to dad at get-togethers because he doesn’t baby me like mom does when we are at the grandparents house. 

Bubsy: Don’t worry, you’ll have fun too at the grandparents house. Now it’s time to wrap this up and go take a nap before mom takes us for our afternoon walk. Have a great Thanksgiving week everybody out there! 🦃
