So Dazed

Bubsy: Welcome to Sunday late afternoon. How are you doing on this fine day, sissy? 

Sissy: Better question is…how are you? You were all out of sorts yesterday. Dazed, confused, and in pain. I almost felt sorry for you….almost! 😉 

Bubsy: My day started out well yesterday. Then I went to the vet. Now the vet visit went well. I’m a fine specimen of a healthy stud. And my adoring friends at the vet office were super happy to see me. 

Sissy: Wait, let me interject. My big bro is greeted with such fanfare at the vet office, it’s disgusting. Everyone comes out to see…and I quote the vet staff…”the loverboy”. 

Bubsy: What can I say, sissy? I have a good reputation at the vet office. I have a good reputation in general. Unlike you! 

Sissy: I don’t need that kind of reputation. I’m doing just fine with my warning label that is on me when I walk into the vet office. My warning label says “get back, she’s a feisty unpredictable little one”.

Bubsy: So my vet visit went well. It was the aftermath that wasn’t so great. I was super sore soon after getting home. I couldn’t even jump on the couch without whimpering in pain. I was also dazed and confused.😵‍💫 Finally, around 8:00 in the evening I started to perk up. My perk up was short lived and then I was on mom’s lap ready to be carried to bed by 9:15. 

Sissy: Well luckily you woke up feeling and looking practically normal.

Bubsy: That’s right, sissy. I shook off the badness of yesterday and I’m back to myself today. But man, that was a difficult reaction. I usually don’t get that sore. 

Sissy: Let’s change gears. Our pic below is in honor of the non holiday tomorrow. And I must say, bro…you don’t match in the pic. 

Bubsy: What are you talking about? I’m all camouflaged up! Got my Cowboys camo jersey on with my camo bow tie. I look like a stud! 😉

Sissy: You are so camouflaged we can hardly see you. 😆😆 Just kidding. 

Bubsy: So sissy, let’s wrap this up since the Cowboys are on. Time to watch the second half.

Sissy: Bro, read the headlines. The Cowboys are DONE! Dak is out for the rest of the season and the rest of the team is quite hobbled. Time to watch the Cowboys games like this….🫣…or like this…🙈

Bubsy: One can only hope the second string players can pull our season out of the gutter. But I’m not stupid….I realize it’s not likely. Anyway, have a good week and enjoy the non holiday tomorrow. 🇺🇸 We salute and thank all the veterans out there. 🫡
