Football Time

Bubsy: Welcome to football season…are you geared up, sissy?

Sissy: I’m geared up! Cowboys are playing well!

Bubsy: They better play well! They have the two HIGHEST paid players in the league. 🤑 

Sissy: And clearly Dak overpaid for that jacket he wore today when he arrived at the stadium. I thought he was cross dressing with that jacket choice. 😬

Bubsy: Enough about all that lack of good fashion for Dak. What else is going on in our world?

Sissy: Lots of rain this past week. And the most eerie power grid failure to date. ⚡️ 

Bubsy: Oh man, there we were walking in the wee hours of the morning because mom goes to work before the rooster down the street crows. So yeah, we were walking when all of a sudden the power failed. Complete blackout….mind you, we walk when it’s dark out and then the power grid fails and no street lights, no porch lights…NOTHING! 

Sissy: I’m not sure which one of us was more freaked out…me, you, or mom. Yikes! 😬 

Bubsy: We made it thru…and here’s an interesting fact for everyone out there. When the power is restored it takes the street lights about 5 minutes to warm up and come back on fully. 

Sissy: FIVE LONG MINUTES! 

Bubsy: What else is going on sissy? Were you a good girl this week? 

Sissy: I’m always good. 

Bubsy: No you aren’t. You were especially naughty. It was not a good week for the fur baby girls.  They were battling by marking the toy tunnel we have. First our cat sister peed on the tunnel then Sissy went over and peed on the tunnel hours later. She got a barely anything reprimand from dad when she peed on the tunnel. Skip ahead to a few hours later she went back to pee on the tunnel after seeing our cat sister go in the tunnel. Mom happened to come down the hallway at the time of all this and…oh…my…goodness! TROUBLE!

Sissy: I heard my full name used in mom’s booming teacher voice with the fear of God voice mixed in. Good thing I’d already peed because that voice almost made me pee again. Mercy me! 😱🫣 

Bubsy: I guess you learned your lesson.

Sissy: I guess I did! Never going to battle the cat in a marking the tunnel game ever again. 😔 

Bubsy: And you know who minded his own business and DID NOT get in trouble this past week…yours truly. 😇…well friends it’s time for us to get back to the Cowboys game….halftime is over. Have a beautiful week! 🏈
