Bubsy: Ching-Ching-Ching, do you hear that cash register ring?

Sissy: Oh yes I do! 🤑 

Bubsy: It’s tax free weekend here in Texas. Taxes got turned off 6:00 pm on Friday and no taxes will be charged until the stroke of midnight tonight. The store lines are long, traffic is awful, and the malls are as crowded as they were back in the 90s….according to my momma. 😉 

Sissy: The 90s? Say what? That’s ages ago…I can’t comprehend the 90s or comprehend what a mall is. I know Petsmart and Petco, that’s all I believe I need to know. 

Bubsy: That’s right sissy, you are doing fine just knowing the places for us puppers. Let’s think…what else is going on in our world? The Cowboys started their preseason last night.

Sissy: Oh geez, same old story. And if Parsons doesn’t sign his contract and get back to the team there might be rioting in the streets. 

Bubsy: Sissy, you are so dramatic. But I agree we need Parsons to sign on the dotted line or else the fan base will get very upset.😡  So are you excited for football season?

Sissy: Not particularly. Means I see these funny dressed large men with helmets on their heads coming at me on TV. I don’t need anything jumping out of the TV to get me.😬  Plus, I’ve been enjoying the quietness of our household without football. 

Bubsy: The quietness? I seem to recall just last night you barking and growling at the cat. You are the loudest one in our household. 

Sissy: I’m keeping order in the house. But when mom and dad cheer and boo at football it’s unnecessary noise. 

Bubsy: Whatever, sissy. Anyway, with tax free weekend here…you know what that means….back to school time is in full swing. 

Sissy: The countdown is on. Momma better hurry up and get her classroom in order.

Bubsy: Momma will be ready. But for now let’s enjoy this sunny summer Sunday. It’s another hot one. We survived last week’s heatwave and this week should feature slightly lower temps. The mornings are already cooler so summer is definitely winding down. Well my little sissy, let’s wrap this up and leave you all with a dog day of summer pic…tropical vibes for our pic today. 🌴
