Bubsy: It’s Sunday! Put me in coach…I’m ready to play! Let’s go Cowboys! First game at home this season. Are you ready, sissy?

Sissy: I’m as ready as I’m going to get. Ready to eat! Ha ha! Kind of sad that the Cowboys stadium’s new menu has made more news than the team this week. Anyone for some beef brisket mac and cheese? Or brisket nachos? Perhaps Fritos brisket is more your thing? Clearly we Texans love our brisket! 🐄 

Bubsy: I love smelling the brisket. We were stuck smelling brisket all day yesterday as mom made one of dad’s favorite meals in the crockpot. 

Sissy: Sure would be nice if someone offered us more than a smell. 😋 

Bubsy: I’m with you on that, sissy! Well, enough about all that useless info. Let’s talk about other stuff. 

Sissy: How about mom’s discontent over her new driver’s license picture.🤣

Bubsy: Texas drastically changed the look of the driver’s license and mom recently went to the DMV to get an updated one. Finally her new license arrived in the snail mail. The licenses have only black and white pics now. Mom said thanks to her blonde hair and fair skin, she looks invisible. 😆 

Sissy: Mom’s reaction to her driver’s license pic had dad laughing for quite awhile. 😆 

Bubsy: So sissy, this is the last official week of summer. Fall starts a week from tomorrow. What should we do to say goodbye to summer. 

Sissy: I already said goodbye. Peace out summer! Mom already decorated our house for fall and purchased a boatload of Halloween candy…which she’s hiding from daddy. 

Bubsy: I’m hoping for one more dip in my pool. But overall I look forward to fall and I love the new fall toys mom got me…I mean us…got us.😉 Sissy, it’s about that time…time to wrap this up and get on with our football watching. 

Sissy: Let’s not forget the snacks for the football watching! 

Bubsy: We can grab some snacks from our game day photo shoot earlier. Enjoy football everyone, have a great week. 🏈
