Bubsy: Well hello to Sunday! Sissy, we made it to Sunday, where are you at?

Sissy: Probably not in Texas. Probably got blown upward to Oklahoma during the three days of awful weather we’ve suffered through. ⛈️ 

Bubsy: Don’t worry sissy, I’m 100% sure you are right here next to me and still in Texas. 

Sissy: Are you sure? How can you see me? The fog was so thick this morning I couldn’t even see my own precious feet. 🐾 

Bubsy: The fog was thick but sissy exaggerates.

Sissy: I was not a happy walker this morning.

Bubsy: Sissy, the entire neighborhood knows you weren’t happy. She walked like a mad wet hen, grumbling like a gremlin the entire way. 

Sissy: And that cackling witch on our morning route scared me again. If mom hadn’t had a good grip on my leash I would have turned around and ran home at the sound of the first witch cackling at me. 

Bubsy: It’s feeling like Halloween around here, complete with the damp foggy weather we are having. Cackling witches in front of people’s houses, pumpkins galore, and bats hanging in people’s trees are becoming all familiar sights for us.

Sissy: Don’t forget the creepy skeletons sitting on people’s porches. Halloween is a creepy time of year. 

Bubsy: You know your personality kind of matches with Halloween. 👻 You can be rather spooky! Moving on, so as we know…Halloween is right around the corner. Mom spent this past week decorating her class pumpkin for a contest at her school. 🎃 We shall see how her pumpkin does in the voting, which starts tomorrow. 

Sissy: She won’t win. 

Bubsy: Well geez, can you be anymore negative. It’s not about winning for mom. She just wants to have a finished product she is proud of. 

Sissy: You know, mom just keeps getting more and more artsy. She made a sheep yesterday out of cotton balls and paper plates. 

Bubsy: Ah yes, mom’s favorite craft supply might be cotton balls. She can tell you which store brand has the best cotton balls. She’s checked out so many brands. 🤣

Sissy: She’s crazy.

Bubsy: Later today mom’s church-school has their fall festival. I hope mom brings us home a treat. I could go for a corn dog or better yet a candy apple.🍎 

Sissy: Mom’s running the candy apple booth. So I’m willing to bet, she’ll come home with an apple or two. But they probably won’t be candied. I would be more intrigued if she was running the pie eating contest. And brought home extra pie.🥧😋 That would be better. 

Bubsy: Have you ever had pie, sissy? How do you know it’s better than an apple?

Sissy: This is how I know…mom eats plain apples daily. But a few weeks ago for her birthday treat she requested pie! So pie has to be better than just a plain non candied apple. 🍎😉

Bubsy: That’s some great reasoning sissy. I’m impressed with your reasoning skills.

Sissy: What can I say…I’m one smart cookie! 🍪 

Bubsy: It’s about time for us to put a wrap on this post….a candy wrap on this post since Halloween is nearly here.🍫 If you are accepting trick-o-treaters please get them the good stuff.
