The Confusion

Bubsy: Welcome to our Sunday afternoon. Where we are waiting for the Cowboys to start. Big game today….rivalry game. Hey, where you at sissy?

Sissy: Probably in Texas laying on the couch ready to watch the game with my earmuffs. Mom nearly blew my ear drums out yesterday watching her precious Sun Devils take down a Texas team. How dare them! 😠 

Bubsy: It was quite the game. And what a weird few hours it was for us in our house.

Sissy: It all caused me to be dazed and confused. 😵‍💫 Mom was cheering for her team. Dad was cheering for the Texas team. The noise level was ridiculous. Mom was even pacing the floor at times. 

Bubsy: Mom kept pulling me to her side. I was easy to convince. I’m a big time momma’s boy. 😊

Sissy: I tried to stay neutral. Because overall I really didn’t care. I cared more about when it was going to stop raining and who had the cozier blanket near them. 

Bubsy: You weren’t too good at staying neutral, sissy. You were on mom’s side for almost the whole game. 

Sissy: Well what can I say…she gets my support when she has a cozy blanket.😉

Bubsy: Lucky for us, no confusion today. Cowboys are playing their rivals today. This is an all Cowboys household. 🤠 

Sissy: I want to be a cowboy, baby! 🤠 

Bubsy: Do you really? 

Sissy: No, not really. Just singing the song we always hear around here. 

Bubsy: Oh yeah, it’s a popular tune played at all commercial breaks of Cowboys games. 🎶 So what else is going on in our world?

Sissy: Pumpkins! 🎃 

Bubsy: Yep, it’s pumpkin season and mom is obsessed with pumpkins…as decor, that is. Mom and dad went out to pick pumpkins. But before they went out looking for pumpkins to decorate with, mom came home with a big pumpkin from work on Friday. She has to decorate it for the fall festival at her school. 

Sissy: Last year’s fall festival pumpkin was kind of a disaster she did. 

Bubsy: Well let’s hope mom learned from that experience.🤣😉

Sissy: Doubtful. Mom is a slow learner. 

Bubsy: I think mom has done the necessary research on paints and other things this time around. Plus she even went to the hardware store to find stuff for this year’s pumpkin contest. So it’ll be better this year. 🎃 I believe in mom!

Sissy: I don’t! 

Bubsy: Sissy! Stop it! What if mom reads this? You might not get dinner tonight. 😳

Sissy: I’m not worried! 

Bubsy: I think it’s time for us to wrap this up and get back to our Sunday afternoon. The Cowboys are coming on soon.

Sissy: We have just enough time to get in a quick nap and for me to get my earmuffs on. I have
