Let’s Party!

Bubsy: Well hello there! Welcome to the party! We’ve had a couple celebrations this week. First up, my gotcha day then Mom’s bday. Yesterday was mom’s birthday party. Which was lots of fun! At least for me! 😉 How about for you, sissy?

Sissy: Grandma tried to pick me up and I went running to mom. I’m too precious for grandma to pick up. 😠 

Bubsy: So instead grandma came over and stole me away from my auntie’s arms. 😆 Don’t worry ladies, there’s enough of this little loverboy to go around. 😉 In other news, I think mom was pretty happy with at least one of her gifts. She squealed with extreme excitement when she opened a t-shirt box containing a Cardinals shirt.

Sissy: That squeal was completely unnecessary. And it was while I was occupying her lap. Never heard her squeal like that over a Cowboys shirt. 🙄 Mom better realize where she lives. Texas! 

Bubsy: Cowboys shirts are a dime a dozen here. But finding a Cardinals shirt is like looking for a needle in a haystack. So mom’s excitement is understandable.😊 

Sissy: Well at least all this partying is done. Because listening to your gotcha day song followed by the Happy Birthday song was almost too much for me to bear. 🙄

Bubsy: For those that aren’t aware….sissy has an additional nickname…”the fun police”. She’s the po-po! 👮Nobody has fun without sissy objecting to it.

Sissy: How is it fun to listen to mom sing to you?🎤 🎶 I barely like her singing when it’s my bday or gotcha day. So I definitely don’t enjoy her off key singing when it’s for you. Plus it has only one line. It’s questionable if it’s even a song? 

Bubsy: Well look at you sissy…portraying yourself as a music expert.😆 And on that note…pun intended.🎵😆…it’s time for us to wrap this up and get back to our relaxing Sunday. Actually much to sissy’s dismay, mom has a few more gifts to open tonight. So here’s to hoping sissy can keep herself calm thru a little more celebrating for mom.🥳 Hope you all have a good week!
