Seattle and Denver It Is!

It's the Broncos going up against the Seahawks.  I just knew deep down that's how it was going to play out.  The way the Seahawks played in the first few minutes had me worried though.  But they got it together.  San Francisco on the other hand is always known for fast starts.  Both of my preferred teams won!  That's great!  Only one small problem!  This is a divided household come Super Bowl Sunday.

I will not root for Denver!  I will be for Seattle!  Brad will of course be all for the Broncos.  I will most likely be the lone Seahawk supporter in the house on Super Bowl Sunday.  Oh well! I'm okay with that!

Here's the thing....I can not bring myself to root for the Broncos since I called Seattle home at one time.  I have no ties to Denver like I do to Seattle.  I've never even visited the city of Denver.  However, that being said it will not be like it was for me when my Cardinals faced the Steelers in the Super Bowl some years back.  I completely DISLIKE the Steelers. I will hold a grudge for many more years to come against the Steelers.  That right there is the difference.  Though I will not cheer for the Broncos I will not be bitterly upset if they win.  I will be able to be happy for them. I will especially be happy for Peyton Manning, as I believe he is a great quarterback.  I do enjoy watching both of the Manning boys.  There will be no grudge held against Denver, no bitter feelings for years to come.  I simply want to see a great game and during which I will cheer the team that represents a city I used to live in.  I truly did love living in Seattle.  I understand it was only in God's plan for it to be a short-term experience which I'm fully content with!  It will always be one I will cherish.  An experience I will always have fond, special, and everlasting memories of!  I'm DEFINITELY happy I moved here instead of back to Seattle as was my original plan 5 years ago.  It wasn't until I moved to Dallas that I was forced to make Seattle drop down to my second favorite city in the USA.

Come Super Bowl Sunday...picture Brad in his Broncos duds sitting next to his wife in her Seahawks duds!  I'll do my best in the next 2 weeks to convince our "kids" to support the Seahawks too.  Hmm, which one should I attempt to convince first.  Oh Cody....come see mommie....we need to talk!
