I definitely want to see the lights of the city. After all Paris is nicknamed the city of light. So we are purposefully saving up some energy for a longer evening out.
Yesterday we had done so much during the afternoon that by the time 8:00 pm came around we just wanted to chill. Back to our hotel we went to relax. We watched some of our TV shows we brought on DVD using our laptop. It is very interesting being in a hotel room that has a TV but yet you can't understand anything on the TV. We did watch some soccer briefly. Sports is easy to understand since you can see what's going on even if you can't understand the commentating.
I thought I would explain more about our hotel room in this post. In France they typically have the toilet separate from the shower and sink area. So essentially you have two bathrooms inside your hotel room. We have the toilet in one small room and the sink is with the shower in another small room. They face each other with our minibar and wardrobe separating them.
Notice the window at the right of the bed. I love looking out that window. There's also another window the bed is positioned to look out of at the foot of the bed. This is what the room looks like when we return in the evenings after "turndown service" has come in to draw the curtains, turndown the bed and place chocolates on each corner of the bed spread..jpg)
