It's a Beast!

Well this past Saturday we continued our search for our new TV.  We looked around a bit in the afternoon before returning to Best Buy.  Honestly, Best Buy is our fave store! It's most certainly Brad's fave.

Upon our second visit to Best Buy we surprisingly eliminated the 3 we had been considering the previous night.  We instead found ourselves with a new top 3. We then walked around discussing which one was the best option.  We were set on making a decision on Saturday.  We had company coming over and the Cowboys were set to play on Saturday evening. A decision had to be made!

On Friday we did set a budget for the new TV.  But we were willing to go over the budget if need be.  I could tell Brad wanted a Sony.  We weren't leaving Best Buy with any other brand.  Our new top 3 picks were all Sony's.  A few differences in each one but all Sony.  I think my research I had done late Friday night helped sway my husband into wanting a Sony.  Some of the brands I thought were strong TV brands before I did my research proved to not rate as high as I had thought they would.  I'm sure having my research fresh in our minds is what caused us to change up our top 3 picks.

As we walked around we rated the importance of features, size, and budget.  Two of the three we were considering were within our budget, the third option was over.  The over budget TV came with an added interesting feature.  In the end we stuck to our budget and couldn't be happier!  I am shocked we stuck to our budget and came home with such a beast.  I'm not even going to say how big the TV is we came home with, it's slightly embarrassing we now own such a BEAST.  It's huge! Both of us have made numerous comments about how shocked we are that we now own such a large TV.  Truth be told it's a bit too big for our current living room but we won't be living here forever.  Hope is that this TV lasts longer than the last one and will look great in a new home. I'm sure watching football on this beast of a TV was incredibly appealing to Brad.  I must say it was appealing to me too.  I wanted Brad to make the final decision on the TV after we discussed the pros and cons of the top 3.  I wanted him to make the final decision because I know how important TVs are to men!  Am I right?  Don't get me wrong I love TV too.  Still though TV I believe is slightly more important to the majority of the male population then the female population...just my opinion! Yay for us we stayed in budget, we came home with a beast of a TV and we got a Sony Bravia. Watching football this season will be extra exciting.  Right now we are currently watching the U.S. Open tennis tournament.  It's night one, live from NY. Guess what our TV will be featuring on the screen 90% of the time for the next 2 weeks?  Yep, tennis! Perfect timing!  Speaking of perfect timing when we were on our way home with our new beast I commented that we had just enough time to get it set up before the Cowboys come on. We had about 2 hours until kick-off, and only an hour until pre-game.
