Got Gas? Groceries? Dog Food?

My husband went to work this morning then returned shortly afterwards. Coming through the door in a bit of a hurry as he grabbed the keys to our pathfinder. When I turned to question his quick lunge for the keys he briefly explained..."The city is running out of gas, we need our cars gassed up." He then rushed out the door. Upon his return home he described the crazy chaotic scene at the gas station. Problem is gas trucks can't get into the city to make their deliveries so the city is running out of gas.

Similar issues are present at grocery stores in our area. The produce and dairy sections have the most empty spots. No green beans or zucchini...I almost cried! Cody will cry tonight too. As he's a big time green bean fan. When I'm cooking green beans he's in the kitchen.

Last time I was at Petsmart I didn't realize Cody was low on food. Went back today and once again "Due to Hurricane Harvey we are still waiting on our delivery of this brand" is what the sign in front of Cody's brand of food read. I will try again tomorrow or Saturday to get Cody's food. Piper is good on food, so no worry for her. I think Cody has enough to make it until Saturday. Fingers-crossed!

I think the gas situation is the most crucial. As for food, there's a lot of choices, even if you can't get one type of food maybe another is available...that goes for us humans and little Cody-man. He may have to deal without green beans and his typical brand of food. Oh the effects of Harvey! Cody shakes his paw at Harvey, while mumbling under his breath!  And yes, I'm sure what we are dealing with is very small compared to what a lot of people in certain areas of Houston that have lost nearly everything are dealing with. We can deal with it!
