I mention quite often that the boys have the ability to crack me up frequently. The other day the boys had a rather quiet protest over the ottoman. Their ottoman is perfectly placed in front of a window off to the side to lay on. Other than that ottoman they are not to be on any piece of furniture.
Now before I tell this story let me state an interesting thing about small dogs. Despite their size there's something about how small dogs stretch out that they can take up some serious space if they want to. Well on this particular day and at this particular moment of the day Cody wanted to take up as much space as possible leaving no room for Simon. No worries, Simon's good at fitting into a tight squeeze! Remember the fridge incident? Even though there was no room for Simon to lay down he still wanted to be up on the ottoman. In one quick jump he landed and promptly sat down on Cody. At the time Cody's head was positioned in the opposite direction looking out the window so he was rather shocked when he felt Simon sitting on him and he was quick to turn his head towards Simon to give him a disapproving glare. Simon didn't care about the glare! He continued to sit on Cody. I sat back to watch the pug show because it was currently better than any show I was watching on TV. I was curious how long Cody would allow this? Not to mention curious about how long Simon would actually want to sit on Cody? A few minutes went by. Cody gave Simon another disapproving glare followed by a small groan. Likely thinking to himself, "Is this little guy nuts, how long is he going to sit on me?" If you've ever been around Cody much you know the groans he likes to use it's not a growl it's just a simple unhappy groan he does. About 30 seconds later Simon decided to jump down. Simon however didn't go far. He now sat on the floor looking up at the ottoman watching Cody's every move. A few moments later Cody got up and jumped down too, he walked off towards his bed and Simon jumped back up on the ottoman. Likely thinking he had scored a win with that battle! Finally got big bro to move! LOL!!!!
