Valentine's Day!

I meant to put up a Happy Valentine's day message back on Monday but I was rather busy. The hours just flew by that day. I also meant to make this post before now.

For our Valentine's day, we discussed prior to the day what we would like to do. So the evening was spent getting take-out and making a venture to Blockbuster to get the agreed upon movie. When we arrived at Blockbuster I noticed a different movie that I would like to see. However, it would be a total "chick-flick". Out of fairness to my boyfriend I was trying not to want the chick-flick. Normally after my boyfriend has observed my face light up over a particular movie he will offer to rent the chick-flick instead of whatever movie we've come in to get. This time though he made no response. I didn't think much of it. The movie we agreed upon was more pleasing to both of us. So we went with the agreed upon movie and on we went with our night.

After we finished dinner and started to open gifts. What was in my gift bag? The chick-flick movie I had oohed and awed over at Blockbuster. LOL! We ended up watching the movie he got me versus the one we rented. Instead of flowers I requested a petite cake to share. So once again he picked a yummy cake for us to have for dessert. It was a fun relaxing time spent together.
