I suppose the biggest negative of the weather conditions would be the damper it's placed on the Super Bowl festivities. The airports have cancelled numerous flights so lots of people will be lucky to even get here in time for the game on Sunday as airports begin to play catch-up on Saturday.
On the local news the weather issues have definitely taken centerstage not the Super Bowl. But I think this weekend things will change, the Super Bowl will rightfully take centerstage. I'm looking forward to the big game. Though we are still undecided as to what we are doing for the game. We'll figure it out soon enough. I'm good with anything. I must admit though I'm curious how busy the roads will be if we do decide to go somewhere for the game.
I think since the Steelers are in the Super Bowl it's perfectly okay with me that Super Bowl talk took a backseat this week. I did just fine not seeing Steelers mania all over the news. I love how Jerry Jones did acknowledge that the city of Dallas wasn't too happy to host the Steelers but then reminded everyone that the Cowboys beat the Steelers in the only Super Bowl in which those two teams met. I remember that Super Bowl well it was Super Bowl XXX played at Sun Devil Stadium back in 1996.
