Well I'm sure Simon would like to welcome everybody to the blog for the month of March, his birthday month. Let the countdown begin until Boo-Boo's cake time! The beginning of March means that Easter is on it's way too. We gave up ice cream for Lent this year, only 28 more days until we can enjoy ice cream again. We both gave up the same thing this year in hopes to make it a bit easier on us overall.
Yesterday I went to a birthday party for our little flower girl from our wedding. She had a little tea party themed bday party. Super cute party! I went with my mother-in-law, we had fun. Played some games at the party and enjoyed spending time with people in my husband's family.
Brad had to work yesterday so that means we are looking forward to him having a 3 day weekend next weekend. We've spent today relaxing as much as possible. We ventured out to the mall briefly then went to a new pizza café for a late lunch. The pizza café was delish! We'll definitely return! We have our fair share of pizza and hamburger places in our area. Small chain places not necessarily big chain places. We've got two new restaurants going in nearby and I'm curious to see what those turn out to be.
I've made it a whole week now with my new laptop. I think the Vaio is a keeper! I've started to download things and get it completely set up. It's still taking some getting used to. I love the touch-screen but it does make the screen more reflective. It must be due to the type of screen that is used to make it a touch-screen.
Weather last week was a bit cold or shall I say brisk especially in the mornings. There were a few mornings that featured a bitter cold wind, making the morning walk with the boys a bit unpleasant. By the time Friday of this past week rolled around I was anxious for a bit warmer temps for the earlier mornings. I was hoping for something in the 40s versus the low to mid 30s. Today I got that wish. Hardly any wind and low 40s for the morning walk. Ahh, yes! It was actually a perfect day weather-wise, not to cold in the morning and a lovely temp for the afternoon. I realize some Zonies might read this and think I'm nuts for considering the low 40s to be a great temp for the morning walk but I'm no longer accustom to Phx weather folks!
