Time for the Bracket

So we of course filled out our brackets for the NCAA March Madness.  I don't particularly care but it's still interesting to me to keep track of what is going on.  It's always fun to see how well I can predict what will happen.

In our bracketology comp at stake is a dinner out of the winners choice.  The way you win is easy....the winner has the most overall correctly predicted wins.  After the first day of games we were tied.  All the games played on Thursday we amazingly predicted the same.  Crazy!

We were of course disappointed that no Texas teams are in the tourney this year.  First time since the mid-70s no Texas schools have made the cut.  Although it probably made it a little easier on us both when we chose our teams.  I will admit the section of the bracket I struggled with the most was the section that features U of A.  I had a hard time deciding how long I wanted to rock along with them in the tourney.  I kept them in there for a bit so hopefully they won't disappoint me.  I'm not into cheering for all the Pac 12 teams, but I'll at least follow what U of A is doing since they are Zonies.  However, that being said should a Pac 12 team make it to the Elite Eight or the Final Four I'd likely have to jump on their bandwagon.

There have been a few upsets already, still no clear "Cinderella" team declared.  Might have to wait until the end of the weekend to see who might emerge as the "Cinderella" team.  We'll see how we do in our individual brackets.  Should be interesting!
